Ask helps you understand indexed footage before deciding what belongs in a video. An answer is a research draft; the cited source remains the evidence.

Ask from the right source

Start a thread and select the smallest source set that can answer the question. For this example, open the Vesuvius source’s menu in Sources and choose Open in Ask. Keep only that historical newsreel selected.

In this historical 1944 Vesuvius newsreel, what damage does the eruption cause,
and what do people do in response? Cite the relevant moments.
Do not describe it as current news.

Open a citation and check its context
